She received her professional training from Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi and completed her graduation and post-graduation from University of Delhi. She is a registered practitioner with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and has previously been associated with Manas Foundation. At present, she also works as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the Child Guidance Centre (CGC) at National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD). She joined her hand to team UDGAM- A Mental Health Care & Rehabilitation Centre, Delhi as a co-founder. She has vast experience in working in out-patient, in-patient and community setups that has given her the opportunity to gain a broad perspective on human emotions and relationship dynamics. Since the beginning, she had a keen interest in working with adults and families and has been extensively working in providing her services to aid and promote their wellbeing. She is a compassionate and competent therapist who excels in dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD. She specializes in providing psychological therapies such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Relaxation Therapy, and Family Therapy and uses an eclectic approach to suit the needs of her clients.
Since the beginning, she had a keen interest in working with children and has been extensively working in providing her services to aid and promote their wellbeing. Keeping in mind to serve the child & Adolescents population she joined her hand to team UDGAM- A Mental Health Care & Rehabilitation Centre, Delhi. She is proficient in Assessment of IQ and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, Autism, Specific Learning Disability and other Behavioral and Emotional Difficulties issues, anger issues, anxiety and depression in children and specializes in providing psychological therapies such as Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Relaxation Therapy, Family Therapy and Parent training. She is also very enthusiastic about psycho social work and is experienced in organizing various social awareness camps, conducting workshops for patients with psychosis and their families and various School mental health programs.
She is proficient in English and Hindi. She has authored a book and edited several books. She has also written articles on mental health topics and is on the advisory pannel of prominent Hindi magazines. Since the beginning, she had a keen interest in working with adults and families and has been extensively working in providing her services to aid and promote their wellbeing.
She has received her clinical training from Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) Ranchi and completed masters from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. She also has experience working with underaged law offenders while working with Manas Foundation for a year. At present she is pursuing her Doctoral degree from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore and is also a part of the Udgam team as a co-founder. She was worked closely with child and adolescent cases, especially with ADHD and has also conducted trainings for parents of ADHD children. She has keen interest in areas of internet addiction, parent training, mindfulness, play therapy, web based psychological practices and research.
